COPE Food Pantry
McAllister is home to the area’s COPE Food Pantry. The Food Pantry is open every Thursday from 8:30 am until noon. Someone can be designated to pick up food for you but you MUST WRITE A LETTER and send with that person stating their name, date they are picking up your food, and signed by you the recipient registered with COPE. Unfortunately deliveries are not available. If you need a delivery, please contact Alleghany Highlands Community Services Board at 540-965-2135 OR the local Alleghany-Covington Department of Social Services at 540-444-7100. NO PROOF OF INCOME IS REQUIRED BY COPE. Curb-side service only.
